Hey Ya'll
I found out tonight I was selected for Guitar Player Magazine's 2009 Guitar Superstar Competition!!!This is an incredible opportunity for me and such an honor!!!I've read probably every issue of that magazine since I was 12 yrs old!!I'll have more info and updates as I get them!The finals will be held in Livermore Ca on sept 12th!!I've attatched the flyers that are out right now!!Danny
A Weekend Celebration of music, gear and guitars
Join us at the Livermore Valley Performing Art Center’s and Guitar Player Magazine’s first annual Guitar Player LIVE!, bringing players, guitar legends, and manufacturers together for a weekend long celebration of all things guitar—live performances, artist clinics and the latest gear. Take the rare opportunity to get up-close and personal with world-class guitarists as they share their techniques and talents, in Livermore’s historic downtown. Enjoy free live performances on four outdoor stages, three performances in the Bankhead Theater, clinics, exhibits, and great food and wine. To cap off the festival evenings, several local live music taverns will also host local band performances and guitar virtuosos.
Guitar Player's Superstar Competition Finals

The centerpiece of Guitar Player Live is the magazine’s annual Guitar Superstar Competition. Now in its 5th year, Guitar Superstar pits ten finalists against one another, each vying to impress a group of judges with their technique, tone, melodic sense, and innovation. This year’s judges will include Jennifer Batten (Michael Jackson’s Guitarist), Elliot Easton (The Cars), Greg Hampton (Producer for Alice Cooper & The Tubes), and Steve Lukather (Toto).
BUY TICKETS $23 in advance, $29 at the door
Guitar Player Magazine's 2009 Guitar Superstar Competition is open to guitar players of all ages and styles who believe they have what it takes to earn the title of "Guitar Superstar."

OK It's been a long,long time since we've done an update!!I just finished up a stint as lead guitarist for Country Artist Shawna Lynn,we played shows In Nashville and all over Cali.Now it's time to get crack'n on the new cd!!As of right now all the drums are finished except 1 more new tune that "The Basher" AKA Charlie Waymire is recording at his L A studio right now!!We have Uriah Duffy doing his parts from his mobile studio(in between Whitesnake dates)somewhere in South America.My boy Jeff Young will adding bass to a few of the songs sometime this month also!!So I'm looking at a late summer finish date but until then were booking alot of shows so if your itch'n for some new stuff come'n out!!I have alot of new gear from some Great companies but more on that next time!! |

OK It's been a while since last update!We've been playing alot of shows lately and having a blast!!Thanks to all the wonderfull people coming out to make each show incredible!!!Drummer Charlie Waymire is doing 5 tracks for the new cd at his studio in So Cal! While Steve Spicer will be going in at the end of the month to do his parts!!This cd will be heavier on some spots and defentley more bluesy!!With also a few solo pieces that are sure to raise an eyebrow!! Danny has also joined up with CMat-Mods to exclusivley play Chad's od's,delay's and a few other effects!!They are bad ass so check the links page!! |

We have Shows on Feb 2nd at Pete's Place In Pinole Ca & on March 3rd with good buddies The Jesse Brewster Band at The Timeout Club in Concord Ca,As always check the Live Dates page for more info!!The boy's will starting working on the new CD starting in march with a mid summer release target!!!They have been rumored to be letting some of it out at the shows!!! |

OK It's been a while!!We have a couple shows in Dec(Check the live dates page)In febuary we'll start the new cd(no title yet).I have most of the songs written and can't wait to get going on it!!Also here's the link for my space since most people check that out more than the websites now days!!Have a happy and safe Thanksgiving!!

Danny is very proud to announce he has just signed an endorsement deal with EMG Pickups,thanks to Scott Ferrara for all his help!!Also this month the band will be rocking The Bourbon St again as the main support act for Rock Legend Pat Travers!!!Check the Live Dates page for more details!!Danny's june/july column for Guitar 9 records is also out.

We have a couple of show's this month.The first is 5/19 at The Bourbon St Bar&Grill opening for Guitar Legend Uli Jon Roth!!On 5/27 we will be playing with Millitant Miss at The 4th St Tavern in San Rafeal,should be a fun show!!Filling in for Bassist Uriah Duffy(while he's on tour with that little old band WHITESNAKE!!)will be Mr Jeff Young!!So come on out and have some fun!!c ya there!!! |
